Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the first woman to ever win two CrossFit Games. In 2010, she finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and a media star. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. In addition, she is known for taking home both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie as well as her parents and siblings were all born and raised within Reykjavik Iceland. Annie was an avid sportsperson and began working out at the age of five. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years older (as in 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit back in California. She did well on her initial competitions, placing within the top 10 in the rankings. But she did not win a title and finished the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. It was in her second year, she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she was the first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 led to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she won consecutively. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. And in 2021, she won with a bronze. Annie trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her. Annie's rising recognition as a professional athlete has made her the model for a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae.
