Pooja Shegde was born in Mumbai Maharashtra India on the 13th of October in 1991. The actress has been an Indian Film Actress and Model famous for her role in movies like Tamil Telugu and Hindi. The personal story began with her birth to Hindu parents Manjunath (the father) and Latha (the mother). Rishabh Hegde is her older brother. The Pooja Hegde family belongs predominantly to Udupi. Pooja is able to speak Hindi as well as Tamil Telugu Kannada & English. Professionally, Pooja is a fan of fashion and modelling since growing up and decided to pursue a career as a model or actor. To compete with modeling opportunities, she started her modeling career when she was studying. In 2010, she competed for Miss Universe India 2010 and came in second place. Her next focus was in the field of filmmaking. In order to get break-in films she contacted a variety of filmmakers from the south and Mughmodo was her first ever film in her professional career. Mughmodo, her debut film for the cinema industry, was made by her after meeting with a number of southern film makers. Oka Laila Kosam became the next film that was offered. Then she received a number of films offers and starred in a variety of films from South India. Her debut performance as an actor in Bollywood was made in the film Mohanjo Dara by Ashutosh Gvarikar and which she was in in the year 2016. The film featured her alongside Hrithik Rohan. It was a blockbuster and a huge success at the box office before she moved back to South India. Saakshyam Saravinda Samethaveera Raghava, Maharshi and Saakshyam were some of her Telugu films she released after launching Bollywood. The actress was in the Bollywood film Housefull 4 and her films were all successful.
