Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and also has Chinese origins, however her dad Winston Barrett Munn comes from an American family. Olivia was just two years old when her parents split up. She was raised by her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was an United States Air Force member. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan, even although the family moved often. During that time she was involved in many local productions of theater and eventually became an Japanese fashion model. Olivia relocated from to the United States back to Los Angeles, where she pursued her dream of becoming an actor. Then, after some small roles in TV programs that featured Hawaii lenses (such such as Beyond the Break), she was able to land the role of Mily Acuna. She was also offered Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan. The show's host is "The Daily Nut", "Formula D" and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. Surfing is her passion as she has practiced it since the TV series Beyond the Break (2006). Also, she is a black belt in taekwondo. Her mother remarried when she was just two years old, and was an Air Force official. Though the family relocating many times, she was primarily born in Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather's military was stationed. Attending at the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major with minors in Japanese and drama art.
