Hayley Orrantia is an American performer, actress and songwriter. Her most well-known role can be Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, a comedy TV show. Even though she sings however, her passion for music. Music is the first passion that she insists on; it's something she has dabbled at when she was 9 years old. As she grew to the age of 12 her music took an adolescent turn and she began to train professionally. In 2013, she took the plunge into songwriting and made her first album. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English as a child and her whole life was in America. To preserve the heritage she's learning Spanish. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X Factor when she uploaded an YouTube performance video. She was awarded the four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was for "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. However, three female singers along with her were brought together for auditions of other songs. The group was removed from the show during the fifth live week.
