Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Her name is well-known for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). Her family was an artist family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of arts. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant before moving on to acting and modeling. The actress was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being an aspiring young actress. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. She was named the best female box-office actress in the world after only three releases. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were engraved in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
